Gasket plate heat exchanger-01

The gasket heat exchanger is composed of frame plates, plates, rubber gasket, tie rods and other components. It can be disassembled and cleaned. The plates and rubber gaskets can also be replaced infuture to save cost. However, it also requires basic skills in heat exchanger maintenance to operate. Since the main clamping force is the tie rod bolt, the conventional design pressure is generally 10kg and 16kg,  the special design can reach 25kg.

Brazed plate heat exchanger-01

The brazed heat exchanger is composed of stainless steel plates and copper foil. The copper foil is melted in a vacuum furnace at a high temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius. The liquid copper will flow to the contact point between the two plates, and then rapidly cool down in the vacuum furnace. When copper cooled and solidified, the plates are welded. It is one-piece and has a tight structure. The conventional design pressure can reach 30 kg. For high-pressure working conditions, a reinforced version can be added to make the design pressure reach 45 kg. But the disadvantage is that maintenance is more difficult. Basically, if it is damaged, it will be replaced with a new unit. So Brazed heat exchanger is more suitable for applications where the medium is relatively clean and free of impurities.
